The next group event simulation is planned for Saturday 30th June where myself, Marc and Matt will be (attempting) to walk 30 mile around Cannock Chase. This is our last peak, before we taper off two weeks before the big one. As I've said before, everybody is sort of doing their own thing up until this point.
Marc went for a walk Saturday gone, and lasted just over 1 hour before he gave up due to servere weather conditions.
Matt simulated nothing last weekend, but insists that he will be 'knocking out around 24 miles' this coming Saturday.
Mike is walking to the pub and back on a regular basis, but he has mentioned that his knees are playing up! (tell the subs to warm up!).
I'm not doing anything.
Team, team, team, what is going on? I've been away for a few days and the training seems to have slipped. What happened to this weekends training boys? Over the last two weekends I have nearly died twice putting in the miles. Firstly, the elephant man incident and then on Friday I nearly got struck by lightening. I'm sure somebody is telling me something!!
So what's all this talk about Mike's knees causing trouble? How do you feel pain when you are walking inebriated?
